MAC Launches EDI Accredited course for Emergency Response Drivers

November 16, 2008

MAC’s policy of employing ex Police Instructors with years of experience in Police Driving Schools has ensured that it has always been at the forefront of Emergency Response Training.

Now MAC’s Emergency Response Driving Course has received EDI Accreditation and will be launched at the Emergency Services  Show next week.

John Leighton, Managing Director of MAC said, “MAC’s ex Police Instructors have always enabled MAC to offer up to date and relevant training to the highest standards for Emergency Service Drivers. EDI Accreditation now means that participants will gain the benefit of a Nationally recognised qualification whilst Organisations will have an audit trail confirming that Training has been carried out in accordance with all the recommendations of The Blue Users Working Group and other Statutory Authorities. This is particularly relevant in the light of recent legislation and the ever increasing scrutiny applied to all incidents involving Emergency Response Vehicles”

The Emergency Services Show 2008 will be held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry on 19th & 20th November. MAC will be exhibiting on Stand 343. The MAC stand will be staffed by Instructors who will be delighted to discuss any aspect of  Occupational Road Risk Management and Driver / Rider Training including Emergency Response Driving.
