Good news for fleet operators – Despite many rumours the pre-budget speech made no mention of an increase in VED. Emphasis will be placed on bio-fuels and lowering of carbon emmissions.

Mac is gearing up for the new Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, which is due for implementation in April 2008. This Act is requires organisations to have all the relevant systems in place to ensure the safety and well being of their drivers, employees and members of the public. It will enable for those who fail to do so to be more easily prosecuted.
