Mis-fuelling on the increase
November 7, 2007
The BBC reported today that the amount of people who are placing the wrong fuel in their vehicles has doubled in recent years. The most common causesĀ are rushing to appointments and the fact that diesel vehicles are far more refined and therefore the audible engine noise difference is minimal.
Better time management and planning would significantly decrease this problem which will be costing business a huge sum of money nationally.
Fuel delivery systems will, in the future, be designed so this problem can be resolved – in the mean time; think before you re-fuel!
